Press men who were at Agya Koo’s press conference over the weekend were not happy after the event when their expected transportation money usually called “soli” in the media trade were not given to them.
According to reports, the media men who sat through the  press conference from 11 am to 2 pm were asked to go with an empty hands and were assured of “something” the following day but nothing had happened as at press time.
A reporter for The Popular Newspaper who narrated his ordeal said “ The programme was to start at 9 in the morning but when I reached there, owners of the hotel told me nobody had booked the venue for an event. I called Rockson and he told me that the programme will start at 11 but when I told him that the venue had not been booked, he hung up and never picked my subsequent calls made to him”
He added that “we had to rearrange the bar of the hotel to start the conference at 11.”  The Popular Newspaper reporter continued that they were asked to write their names after the event which ended at 2 pm and were asked to go without any ‘soli’.
“They said they will call us but I’ve not received any call from anyone. I don’t know about the others if they have been contacted or not”.
The two Kumasi-based journalists told zionfelix.com that Razz Newspaper and Peace FM’s reporter Mustapha Inusah popular known as Atractive was the only journalist suspected to have been given ‘soli’ for his return journey to Accra.
