I DONT PAY AFRICAN ARTISTES FOR FEATURE - EDEM TELLS MAFIKOZOLO

Ghanaian recording artist and entertainer, Edem has told Bola Ray on Starr Fm that he does not pay African artistes for features. The rapper said this when he made his plans known to feature South African singing duo, Mafikizolo when they come to Ghana over the weekend for this year’s Hennessey Artistry Concert at the Accra International Conference Center.
“Mafikizolo should jump on board let’s do something together. Let’s take over the continent. I want to make it clear to any person who is affiliated to them that I don’t pay any African artiste for features, not in any given day.”
Edem is ready to release his twenty-five track Books ‘N’ Rhyme album. The album features nineteen African artistes and eleven music producers.
The Volta Regime Music Group artiste and boss, is currently working with Nigerian reggae-dancehall singer and songwriter, Patoranking on his hit single “Wicked and bad”. Edem is also collaborating with Fuse ODG on a new song which will be released soon.
The “Koene” hitmaker has worked with African artistes like Ice Prince, Ice Queen, Casper and others.
The artiste who recently released ‘Zero To Hero’ which features Akwaboah is billed to perform this Saturday at the Hennessey Artistry Concert at the Accra International Conference Center with 2face, Wizkid, Mafikizolo, 4×4, MzVee and other surprising acts.
