Tigo supports aged musicians with GHS10, 000
As part of its commitment to support the arts and culture in Ghana, mobile network operator, Tigo has presented a cheque of GHS10, 000 to the Welfare Fund for aged musicians of the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA).
Making the presentation, the Head of Marketing, Jesse Agyepong highlighted Tigo’s continuous support to the music industry.
“Beyond providing the platform for musicians to excite and entertain Ghanaians through various genres, we have also supported the development of several home-grown talent,” he said.
The President of Musicians Union of Ghana, MUSIGA, Bice Osei Kuffour, popularly known as Obour, was grateful for Tigo’s support. He thanked Tigo for supporting MUSIGA some weeks back with the Grand Ball and looked forward to a strengthened relationship between the Union and Tigo.
