A 34-year-old staff of telecom giant MTN at Atebubu in the Brong Ahafo region has been stung to death by bees.

Charles Boadu was attacked by a swarm of bees while working on a communication tower Tuesday.

He died while receiving treatment at the Atebubu Clinic.

An eyewitness said the victim tried to descend from the tower when the bees started attacking him but it appeared too late.

“He came with his colleagues and mounted the tower in the afternoon but all of a sudden, we heard him shouting at the top.

“He managed to come down but looking at the way he was crawling at the floor, we rushed in to help him so we all had our share of the attack,” he narrated.
